Description
House · 6 Guests · 2 Bedrooms
Our house is located in the historic district of Stühlingen in the southern Black Forest, was built in the 18th century and completely renovated in 2014. The "Städtle" is very quiet. There is a typical German restaurant within walking distance. In the "village", approx. 15 minutes on foot, there are shops such as Rewe, Norma, Pennymarkt, dm etc. and other restaurants and cafes. Otherwise, the region is very popular with hikers and bikers, e.g. thegorge trail. Of course, the entire house is available to guests. The ground floor is furnished as a kitchen, dining room and living area and has a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, a DAP radio with CD, USP connection and of course a 43-inch TV that works over the Internet. Tenants can sign up for Netflix or Amazon Prime with their own subscriptions. Children's paints, books and games for the not-so-beautiful days are also available. On the 1st floor there is an anteroom with adjoining bedroom with a double bed (180x200cm) plus a baby travel bed (120x60 including mattress, blanket, pillow and bed linen) and a separate toilet with sink. A high tub for babies is also included. On the 2nd floor there is a bedroom with two pull-out beds (160x200cm). There is also the shower with sink and toilet. During the winter the house is heated by two pellet stoves. The ovens are filled by the landlord during this time. If the filling is not sufficient for longer stays, you can purchase additional pellets in 15 kg sacks from the landlord at the purchase price. UNFORTUNATELY we have been forced to do so by inconsiderate tenants. The holiday home is located near the Swiss border and is ideal for trips to Switzerland such as Schaffhausen - Rheinfall, Lake Zurich with the adjacent old town of Stadelhofen, the Aare Gorge and various ski areas which can be reached in about 2 hours by car in winter. There is an outdoor pool in Stühlingen itself, as well as the Schleitheim and Wilchingen outdoor pools and the Beringen natural pools in the neighboring Swiss communities. Many hikes in the vicinity can be reached on foot, by car or by public transport. Example would be the Sauschwänzlebrücke - right on the Wutach circuit from Lausheim-Blumegg or the Wutachflühen viewpoint - Hohle Gasse circuit from Grimmelshofen with the Sturzdobel waterfall. In the immediate vicinity, of course, the Black Forest with its charms and excursions, such as to Rothaus, the Schlühüwanapark nature adventure trail (especially suitable for families), the Schluchsee, Tittisee, Feldsee/Feldberg, the Belchen, the Bernauer Alp, the Wutachschlucht, Gorge Trail, Affenberg Salem, Steinwasenpark, the 3 Seendampfbahn, the Sau Schwänzlebahn in Blumberg, etc. There are also mostly small mountain huts on the designated hiking trails, so that local products are provided for your physical well-being. Examples would be the Krunkelbachhütte near Bernau, St. Wilhelmerhütte, Zastler Hütte, Baldenweger Hütte all together on the Feldberg, the Raimartihof on the Feldsee or the Hasenhorn mountain inn near Todtnau with an adjacent summer toboggan run. Even a trip to Alsace (France) or the Swiss Jura can be reached in just under 2 hours. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to the A81 motorway. Konstanz, Singen and Lake Constance are about 80 km away. It is also 80 km to Freiburg, although you should definitely plan a trip to the Black Forest bathing paradise near Tittisee with its 23 slides and much more. "Mega fun" for families with children You can experience something different every day. Otherwise, you can always ask the landlord when it comes to excursions. Public transport (bus), which can be reached on foot in 2 minutes, drive from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 30 minutes to Waldshut - Tiengen. Every now and then the train, if it works ;-) The network is still under construction.
